Postscript Reverie Dance Company May 1–3 | The Savoy, Denver Postscript is the premiere of a new evening-length contemporary ballet by Reverie Dance Company, featuring choreography by guest artist Jacob Taylor alongside company choreographers Jenna Skipworth and Lexie Steinhauser. This 90-minute performance, with intermission, blends neoclassical and contemporary movement, pointe work, and a dynamic soundtrack ranging from iconic music to unexpected favorites. The evening is designed to be both emotionally resonant and highly entertaining. The performance opens with a 20-minute work by guest choreographer Jacob Taylor, showcasing athletic and musical movement. The heart of the evening follows in a series of interconnected works inspired by songs titled with women’s names. These pieces imagine the inner lives of the women behind the lyrics and explore how they might relate to one another through shared experiences of love, vulnerability, and strength. Set inside the historic Savoy in Denver, the intimate venue and limited seating create an immersive experience that highlights each dancer while celebrating the power of community.
